Margarita Nuñez is an associate attorney with the Firm. Her practice focuses on public utility regulations, telecommunications law, corporate law, administrative law and commercial law. She also has extensive experience in the area of privatizations and infrastructure projects. Prior to entering the Firm Ms. Nuñez served as Counsel to the Colombia Secretary General of Telecomunicaciones S.A. ESP - Telecom (2004-2006), associate attorney with the firm of Muñoz Tamayo & Asociados (1998-2002), and judicial clerk for Hon. Judge Ricardo Hoyos Duque of the Third Section of the Council of State (the Administrative Law Supreme Court of Appeal) (1997). She co-authored the study "Telecommunications Laws and Regulations 2008 - Colombian Chapter" (2007), and contributed to the book "Privatization in Colombia. Legal Framework for the Transfer of State Property", published by the National Planning Department in 2004. She is a member of the Internet, E-Commerce, Telecommunications and Computer Science Study Group (GECTI) of the Universidad de los Andes School of Law.
