Margot L. Green is an associate in the firm's Insurance/Reinsurance Group. Her practice focuses primarily on complex coverage litigation involving products liability and long-tail claims, including asbestos, silica, and environmental claims. In particular, Margot has handled disputes involving policy interpretation, the allocation of indemnity and defense costs, contribution and subrogation claims, and the application of pollution exclusions to both products and environmental claims. In addition to counseling and representing insurers in direct coverage disputes, she has also handled reinsurance litigation for cedent companies.
Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Margot worked as a law clerk for the General Counsel of ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd.
Margot graduated from Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, where she received a B.A. in French language and culture. In 2005, she received her J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, Margot was a member of the Moot Court Board and Academic Integrity Committee, a Writing Fellow, and a constitutional law tutor to a visiting Afghan judge.
