Maria Esther Fernandez Alvarez de Pou

Mrs. Fernández A. de Pou provides specialized consulting services to private sector clients in different branches of these sectors with regard to all their legal needs in the country. She has worked for a number of years in the maritime, corporate (mergers and acquisitions), foreign investment and finance structuring domains, as well as in concessions, privatizations, agreements and real estate law. Throughout her professional career she has advised leading companies in these sectors in their business operations in the Dominican Republic. In addition, she has represented the Dominican Republic before the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC). She is a member of the Latin American Association of Air and Space Law (ALADA), the Dominican Association of Air and Space Law (ADDAE), the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), and the Board of Directors of Fundación Institucionalidad y Justicia (FINJUS) and is Vice President of the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic and Judicial Interpreter and Arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo.
