Maria Holder is an associate in the firm's Commercial Real Estate Group, specializing in commercial acquisitions, dispositions, financings and re-financings and leasing.
Her practice is transaction-based and she advises domestic, international and cross-border clients in a variety of industries, including those engaged in institutional lending, property management services, hospitality, manufacturing/warehousing, real estate investment, pension funds and asset management.
Maria is experienced in asset purchase transactions involving the negotiation and preparation of documentation relating to the acquisition, disposition and financing of office buildings, shopping centres and industrial premises.
She also acts for various borrowers and lenders in asset-based lending, including take-out and acquisition financings, and has experience assisting on the real property aspects of insolvency and security enforcement transactions and corporate acquisitions and reorganizations.
Maria regularly advises on title matters and title opinions relating to mining interests and acts for landlords and tenants in a variety of leasing matters, including the leasing of office and commercial premises.
