Biography

Marianne Plamondon practises in all areas of employment and labour law, with particular emphasis on the interpretation and application of collective agreements, occupational health and safety matters, psychological harassment, the protection of personal information, pay equity, employment insurance and human rights and freedoms. She has also acted in several matters relating to collective and individual labour relations and in wrongful dismissal litigation. She has considerable experience before the civil courts, particularly in matters relating to restrictive covenants in contracts of employment and the duty of loyalty.

Ms. Plamondon also acts regularly in employment litigation before the civil courts, administrative tribunals such as the Commission des relations du travail and the Commission des lésions professionnelles, and grievance arbitrators.
