| Biography | Marie Seibel concentrates her practice on trademark clearance and prosecution, enforcement and litigation. She counsels established brand-intensive businesses in trademark enforcement as part of their overall business and marketing strategies. Ms. Seibel litigates intellectual property disputes in federal and state courts, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She advises clients that conduct business in a wide range of industries, including biotechnology, computer hardware and software, and food products. Ms. Seibel has a strong intellectual property background, with experience in litigation, technology licensing and agreements, and due diligence for corporate transactions. Prior to joining the legal profession, Ms. Seibel was a senior software engineer at Yaskawa Electric America, Inc. and a mechanical engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. |
