Marie-Eve Bélanger is a partner in our Litigation group in Montréal. Her practice includes civil and commercial litigation as well as professional liability in both civil and disciplinary cases. She also has experience in defamation and privacy suits representing plaintiffs and defendants. In particular, she acts for the La Presse newspaper.
Ms. Bélanger received her LLB from the Université de Montréal in 2002. During her studies, she received numerous academic honours for her excellence in procedural law, the law of evidence and her pleading abilities, as well as commercial and tax law.
Ms. Bélanger was a law clerk to the Honourable Justice Louis LeBel of the Supreme Court of Canada in 2003-2004. She was called to the Québec bar in 2004.
