While attending the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Mariel Covarrubias had the unique experience of serving as the judicial intern to Appellate Judge Fausto Pocar at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in the Hague. At McGeorge, she was also a research assistant for Professor Michael Vitiello and a Comment Writer on the Global Business & Development Law Journal. Ms. Covarrubias graduated from McGeorge with distinction, obtaining a certificate in International Legal Studies in 2010. She earned her Bachelor's degree in 2005 from the University of California, Irvine.
