Marilyn Leblanc is an associate in the Competition Law Group in Montréal.
She advises Canadian and international clients on all aspects of Canadian competition law, especially with respect to mergers, abuse of dominance, cartels and deceptive marketing practices.
Ms. Leblanc worked as a senior officer at the Competition Bureau from 2005 to 2011, and as a lawyer in the Bureau's legal services department. In her practice, she has acted in merger cases and been involved in many other cases related to policy development and implementation. She has also been a senior negotiator for Canada in negotiations pertaining to numerous free trade agreements, including a potential Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union.
Ms. Leblanc received her B.C.L. from Université Laval in 2004. She was called to the Québec Bar in 2005.
