Marilyn Muir Jager is a partner resident in the Los Angeles office. She is a member of the products liability, professional liability and commercial law practice groups. Ms. Jager is extensively involved in the area of product liability, with an emphasis on medical device litigation. Ms. Jager has represented manufacturers in Multi-District litigation and in state coordinated proceedings throughout the United States. Ms. Jager has also been involved in the representation of architects, engineers and other construction professionals. Ms. Jager represents a variety of clients in all aspects of litigation including claims of defective product design, professional negligence, complex torts, business and insurance related matters. Her practice includes risk management and counseling, as well as litigation of complex lawsuits through trial. Ms. Jager lectures to a variety of clients including those in the medical device, insurance, construction, and design profession industries. Ms. Jager has successfully defended the interests of both private and public entities in product liability claims, tort liability claims, contract claims, and professional liability claims.
