Marina Aronchik is an associate in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown's Corporate & Securities practice. Marina focuses her practice on the representation of U.S., foreign and multinational companies in information technology and business process transactions. She also assists with respect to mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance issues.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Marina served as a fellow at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago, representing dozens of detained individuals before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals, guiding pro bono attorneys through similar proceedings and assisting with cases before the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the US Supreme Court. During law school, Marina served as a judicial extern in the chambers of Honorable Martin C. Ashman of the US District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
Before becoming a lawyer, Marina worked in the information technology industry helping clients, including a multinational medical device company, develop and implement a variety of web-based applications and data management systems.
