Mario G. Ceste

Before starting his law practice Mario spent had a 30+ year business career managing and growing technology businesses in the electronic instrumentation and internet software areas. The experience gained during that career offers a unique sensitivity to the client's vantage point, something rarely found in law firms regardless of size. That business insight is applied first to every legal question or challenge the firm handles for its clients. He has managed businesses covering a range of technology areas including remote monitoring of foodservice establishments using the pervasive internet, power monitoring instrumentation systems, advanced electronic temperature control systems, and technology education products used in middle schools up through universities. In 1992 he was selected for the Connecticut Small Business Success Award. Mario is an accomplished inventor holding a dozen issued and pending US Patents and has held positions on industry committees for Safety Standards on Gas Appliance, the UL Industry Task Group for Reliability in Electronics and an Open Protocol Standards group for the Foodservice industry. He is a past Chairman of the Connecticut World Trade Association (CWTA), and the former Chair of the New Haven Manufacturing Council. Mario is also an experienced educator, and presently teaches Advanced Intellectual Property Law as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bridgeport Technology Management MBA program.
