Ms. Burchett's transactional practice includes real-estate secured finance construction and permanent loan and purchase and sale transactions. She has documented and closed numerous loan modification and deed-in-lieu transactions. She advises both developers and lenders on issues related to urban high-rise and mixed-use developments throughout the state of California, including subdivision processing with the California Department of Real Estate and the sale of projects following foreclosure. She has a special interest in title insurance matters, having co-authored a CEB treatise on this subject. She is a frequent speaker on a variety of real estate topics.
