| Biography | Mark Caterini has extensive US federal and local tax experience in general corporate and partnership tax planning and structuring. In particular, he practices all aspects involving tax planning, and the tax structuring of both taxable and tax-free corporate mergers and acquisitions, and asset and joint venture acquisitions, and financing representing both sellers and acquirers. Furthermore, Mark's tax experience includes significant cross-border tax planning, including experience with respect to the US controlled foreign corporation, passive foreign investment company and foreign tax credit provisions of the US tax law as well as broad knowledge of the US treaty network. He has also worked extensively on joint venture formation, including foreign and cross-border tax planning, leasing and project finance, and financial instruments and securitization. |
