Mark Holleman is an energy litigator engaged in disputes in state and federal courts at the trial level; primarily serving clients in energy, admiralty and maritime, insurance and commercial matters. He has experience litigating various issues arising from breach of energy sector contracts, damage to offshore drilling installations, charter party and other maritime disputes. Mark's experience encompasses litigation of insurance coverage issues, including representation of various London Market insurers in complex coverage disputes arising from alleged damage to energy-related assets.
Before starting his litigation practice, Mark served as a graduate fellow for the Honorable Gray H. Miller of the Southern District of Texas and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Marcia A. Crone of the Eastern District of Texas.
Obtained summary judgment for a major provider of international and domestic contract drilling services in a breach of drilling contract case.
Obtained a verdict in favor of an energy exploration company in a federal court trial regarding the formation of a three-year charter party arrangement.
Defended successfully a major provider of international and domestic contract drilling services against marine and environmental pollution claims.
