Biography

Mark Allison's practice involves complex federal and state tax controversy and litigation matters, and related civil action, government investigations and grand jury proceedings. He represents multinational corporations, hedge funds and TEFRA partnerships in a wide range of administrative and alternative dispute resolution proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service Examination Division and Appeals Office, as well as in cases before the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims and in federal district court. Prior to joining Dewey & LeBoeuf, Mr. Allison was an attorney-advisor to the Honorable Julian I. Jacobs of the United States Tax Court, and before that a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph C. Small of the New Jersey Tax Court.
