Mark D. Beaumont was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland. He attended the University of Maine for several years - where he met his wife, Chiantel - and later graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Before entering law school, Mark worked as the IT Director for a computer consulting and training firm in Baltimore, Maryland. While in law school, Mark served as an editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review and as a Legal Writing Instructor for first-year law students.
Following law school, Mark completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable J. Barry Hughes, Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for Carroll County, Maryland, at the end of which Mark moved to Maine with his wife and two young daughters.
Mark Beaumont's practice includes Criminal Law, Employment and Labor Law, Real Estate Law and Insurance Defense and Litigation.
Prior to joining Rudman Winchell, Mark worked as a Litigation Associate at Eaton Peabody in Bangor.
Mark is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the John Waldo Ballou American Inn of Court and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and has served as an attorney coach for Hampden Academy's mock trial team since 2009.
Mark lives on a small horse farm in Hampden with his wife and two daughters, with whom he spends most of his free time.
