Mark D. McWilliams is special counsel at Hinman, Howard, and Kattell concentrating his practice in all areas of Estate planning, including wills, trusts, and charitable giving. Mr. McWilliams is a member of the Florida Bar and is a non-practicing certified public accountant in both Florida and Ohio.
Mr. McWilliams earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova University's Shepard Broad law schools with high honors (cum laude). Mr. McWilliams was a senior staff writer for the International Law Journal published by Nova University's Shepard Broad law school. Upon graduating law school, Mr. McWilliams served as a staff attorney for the Judges on the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Palm Beach County. He is also a member of the United States Tax Court, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and a member of the Real Property & Trust section of the Florida Bar. Mr. McWilliams serves as a Board of Director for the Institute for Sexual Survivors and was the Treasurer of Juvenile Diabetes Association of Palm Beach County and has served on various other associations.
He is a frequent lecturer for Lorman Education Services. Mr. McWilliams concentrates on resolving complex and controversial issues in various practice important areas, including charitable giving and tax-exempt organizations corporate law, probate & estate planning, administration and litigation, trusts administration and litigation, taxation, real estate, condominiums, closely held businesses, and guardianships.
