Mark is a registered patent attorney with substantial experience in prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and several foreign patent offices. He also has experience in infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate studies.
Mark's practice focuses on patent prosecution and client counseling, primarily in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and related fields.

Before Edwards Wildman
While studying for his law degree, Mark worked for a Boston intellectual property law firm, where he specialized in chemical and pharmaceutical patent prosecution. He subsequently was in-house patent counsel for a drug discovery company, where his responsibilities included managing a patent portfolio and participating in intellectual property due diligence for business transactions. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mark studied synthetic organic chemistry and worked for several years in an analytical biochemistry laboratory.
