Mark Gebauer is a trial lawyer concentrating his practice on civil litigation, with primary focus on product liability, personal injury defense and complex litigation. He has represented clients in both federal and state courts in every region of the country. He is a designated national and regional trial and litigation counsel for manufacturing clients and has coordinated nationwide litigation for manufacturers facing multiple lawsuits involving the same type of product or mass tort claims.
Through his practice, Mark has gained substantial practical experience in engineering, machine design, product manufacturing processes, metallurgy, electrical issues, biomechanics, ergonomics, machine and equipment operation, accident reconstruction, and medical issues.
Representative Matters
· Defending manufacturers of agricultural and construction equipment, motorcycles, outdoor power equipment, children's products, locomotive and rail equipment, food processing equipment, industrial machinery, bicycles, food items, propane tanks/valves, chemicals, automobiles, and a variety of other consumer and commercial products;
· Advising clients on the regulations promulgated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission;
· Preparing and coordinating nationwide recalls of consumer products and represented clients before the Commission;
· Preparing and assessing product labels, warnings, instructions and manuals, and assessing product designs;
· Advising clients on how to minimize and manage their product liability risks.
