Since his graduation from Emory Law School in 1989, Mark Ford has been an active business litigator, trial lawyer, and corporate attorney in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Through his practice and representation of a diverse clientele, Mark has gained vast experience in business law, contract law, civil litigation, trial representation, and arbitration.
Mark is an accomplished trial attorney. He has successfully arbitrated, litigated and tried civil actions of many types and sizes, from complex multi-million dollar business disputes to real property matters to six-figure personal injury cases. Mark has litigated cases in Georgia, Colorado, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida before state courts, federal district courts, and courts of appeal, as well as private arbitration services such as the American Arbitration Association and the National Health Lawyers' Association.
Mark also is a seasoned business lawyer. He has served in-house as Vice President and General Counsel to a $1 billion a year publicly traded hospital company, senior operations counsel to a region of eight medical/surgical hospitals, counsel to business clients in myriad legal matters from contract law to litigation, legal counsel to probate heirs and trustees, and general counsel to numerous business clients. He currently provides general legal counsel to businesses from large to small.
Over his legal career, Mark has represented a broad spectrum of business and individual clients in civil legal matters spanning an array of legal specialties.
