Mark Schwartz joined Cooper Levenson in 2004 as a Partner in the firm's Atlantic City office. A member of the firm's Real Estate and Tax & Business practice groups, he is extremely well-versed in the area of complex commercial transactions, real estate, bankruptcy, banking, contract negotiation and drafting, general corporate and commercial litigation, tax and estate planning, and mediation.
He has served as Solicitor to the 1st Savings & Loan Association of Sea Isle City, the Galloway Township Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Atlantic Home Builders Association, the Atlantic County Press Club, and the Trocki Hebrew Academy of Atlantic County and authored "Does Incorporation Protect Your Personal Assets?" for the American Retailer, winter 1989 edition.
Mark is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany (B.S., magna cum laude, 1972), Rutgers University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1975), and New York University (LL.M., Taxation, 1979). He was admitted to the bar in New Jersey in 1975, and Pennsylvania, the US District Court of New Jersey and US Tax Court in 1977. He is a member of the Atlantic County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations.
