    Biography

    Mark G. Trigg is an accomplished trial lawyer who has litigated numerous complex cases throughout the country, including corporate and partnership disputes, class action litigation, defamation and media claims, sports and entertainment litigation, real estate disputes, securities litigation, labor and employment litigation, contractual claims, and white collar criminal defense. Mark also has substantial experience in governmental litigation and administrative proceedings. A former United Methodist minister with decades of persuasive public speaking experience, Mark has not only tried jury and bench trials in state and federal courts, but has also represented his clients in appeals and through alternative dispute resolution procedures.

    Reported CasesSignificant Representations: Successful representation of municipality and its department of aviation as lead counsel in defending litigation brought by multiple frustrated bidders challenging the airport concessions procurement process, valued at approximately $3 billion, on behalf of the world's largest international airport.; Successful defense of one of the world's largest computer manufacturers in class action alleging that 59 models of one of the manufacturer's lines of laptops contained either a manufacturing or design defect that rendered the computers' plastic parts inherently prone to cracking. Plaintiffs sought to certify a class of hundreds of thousands of purchasers with potential exposure in excess of $1.5 billion. After successfully narrowing discovery and filing a series of summary judgment motions, the plaintiffs abandoned the litigation.; Successful defense of major international airline in numerous actions, including as trial counsel in obtaining defense jury verdict in multimillion-dollar personal injury action filed by paraplegic passenger allegedly injured on board a flight.;
