Marshall A. Hevron joined Adams and Reese in 2009, and is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group in the firm's New Orleans office.
Marshall is admitted to practice in Louisiana.
His significant contributions include:
· Representing utility companies in numerous expropriation cases.
· Experience working on commercial business disputes.
· Advising clients on a number of government contracting issues.
· Assisting clients in complying with the Louisiana Public Bid Law.
Marshall received his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law where he also received a Certificate in Civil Law Studies. He received a Bachelor of Arts from St. John's College in 2001.
Prior to law school, Marshall worked in the Washington DC and New Orleans offices of United States Senator Mary Landrieu. Marshall advised Senator Landrieu on national security and veterans policy as well as storm recovery issues.
Marshall served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1998-2004. Marshall's unit was mobilized in 2003 and deployed to Iraq. Marshall was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, the Presidential Unit Citation, and the Iraq Campaign medal. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant.
In the community, Marshall is a board member of the Louisiana Military Family Assistance Fund, Save Our Cemeteries, and the Orleans Parish Democratic Executive Committee. He is also the commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8973 in New Orleans.
