Mary Beth Noonan Heath advises public and private companies on a wide range of matters, including formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities law compliance and other general corporate matters.
Although she counsels clients at all stages of their development, Mary Beth's practice has an emphasis on the structuring and negotiation of business combinations, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases and other strategic transactions. Her practice also focuses on the negotiation and drafting of intellectual property-related agreements, including patent and software licenses, technology development agreements and international distribution agreements.
In addition, Mary Beth assists non-profit entities with filing for tax-exempt status and other general corporate matters.
During law school, Mary Beth worked as a law clerk for The Honorable Isaac Borenstein of the Massachusetts Superior Court, the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, and the General Counsel's office of Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc.
