Mary Binker is an associate in the Real Estate, Corporate and Government Relations Practice Groups.
Mary regularly counsels clients in sophisticated transactions involving the negotiation, financing, restructuring, leasing, property development, sale, and acquisition of commercial property. She has experience representing purchasers, sellers, landlords, tenants, secured lenders and borrowers across a wide range of industries. Mary also advises clients on condominium planning and development issues, zoning and land use issues and legal matters as they pertain to landlord/tenant representation.
On the corporate side, Mary focuses primarily on commercial contracts, business formation and entity selection, corporate governance and due diligence issues. She also has experience assisting with mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing.
Mary also has a wealth of experience in the area of government loans and grant programs including Building PA and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.
Mary started her career at Leech Tishman as a law clerk while she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, Mary was the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship. She also completed her M.B.A. while attending law school, through the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, where she was the recipient of a Katz Merit Scholarship.
