Beth Taylor is General Counsel of the firm. From 1991 to 2004, she was an associate and counsel in the Firm's Litigation Department. During that time her practice concentrated primarily in commercial litigation, libel and defamation law, and insurance insolvency. In addition, she gained substantial experience in litigated insolvency and bankruptcy matters.
In 2004, Beth joined the litigation department for ABN AMRO. In 2007, she became the head of litigation for ABN in North America and in 2009 served as the Acting General Counsel for ABN AMRO North America. After ABN's merger with the Royal Bank of Scotland, PLC, Beth joined RBS' litigation team and ultimately took on the role of head of litigation for RBS Americas.
Beth received a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, her J.D. from Boston College Law School and an LLM from New York University School of Law.
She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey.
