Mary Lee is a member in the firm's Boston office and practices in the Real Estate Section. Her practice involves all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including property acquisition and disposition, development, construction and permanent financing, and office and retail leasing. Mary Lee represents a number of owners and managers of multi-family residential projects with portfolios throughout New England, in Florida and in Texas, in connection with the expansion, disposition and financing of their holdings. She also works with developers in their acquisition, development and leasing of residential, commercial and retail sites. In recent years, Mary Lee has been involved in several major projects in and around the City of Boston, including the following: · the development of a multi-building residential project on Massport-owned land in East Boston; · the development of the 470,000 square foot U.S. headquarters for Manulife Financial in the South Boston seaport area; · the acquisition of sites for two developers in a mixed-use project in Cambridge for the development of an 85,000 square foot performing arts center and a retail/residential condominium; · a land exchange providing for the construction of a new facility for a non profit corporation as part of a new residential project in Chinatown; and · the acquisition/redevelopment of the former Woolworth's building in Downtown Crossing.
