Mary is an associate in Troutman Sanders' Securities Litigation practice group. Her practice includes the defense of corporations and individuals in securities matters, including cases involving fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, professional malpractice, and various other business torts.
Mary graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law where she served as a member of the Broun National Trial Team and Holderness Moot Court, acting both as Co-Chair of the Annual Craven Moot Court Competition and a competitor in an international moot court competition and national trial team competitions. Her accomplishments earned her membership in the Order of the Barristers. She also served as the Graduate Attorney General for the combined UNC Graduate School Honor System. During law school, Mary gained valuable experience with securities laws serving as the Research Assistant to the Distinguished Professor of Law Thomas Lee Hazen.
