Mary Vidas has devoted almost 30 years to representing clients in domestic relations and family law. Ms. Vidas offers in-depth experience to clients in the following areas:
· divorce negotiation and litigation
· custody and child support negotiation and litigation
· alimony
· pre-nuptial agreements
· equitable distribution
· adoption matters
· contract and shareholder disputes
· personal injury matters
Additionally, Ms. Vidas counsels clients in general litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
Ms. Vidas has been certified as an arbitrator by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
She is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Academy of Matrimonial Law, and the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. Recent lecture topics have included: "Validity of Pre-nuptial Agreements," "Alimony and Elder Law Issues," "Custody Problems," "Co-parenting Agreements," and "The Impact of Social Media on Divorce Cases."
Ms. Vidas has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named as one of Ten Leaders of Matrimonial Law in Philadelphia, PA every year since 2004.
Community Service & Affiliations
Ms. Vidas is a member of the Executive Counsel of the ABA / FL Section; an officer and chair of the Board of Examiners of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; President of the Nicholas Cipriani Family Law Inn of Court.
