Maryann is a member in the firm's Boston office and practices in the Real Estate Section.
Before becoming a member, Maryann was special counsel at the firm. For the past seven years, she has represented a national pharmacy chain in property acquisition and development in 23 states. Prior to this work, she represented a wide variety of clients in the acquisition and development of affordable housing, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and golf courses.
Before attending law school, Maryann taught courses in American and European history at St. John's University in Queens, New York and Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire. She also served as the Dean of the School of Continuing Education and as the Chair of the Department of History, Political Science, and Paralegal Studies at Rivier.
Maryann is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is a member of the Boston Bar Association. She also has the honor of an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available, indicating preeminent legal ability at the highest level of professional excellence as determined by opinions submitted by members of the Bar. She received her B.A. from Albertus Magnus College (1966) and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School (1991), where she was named to the Order of the Coif. She also received her M.A. (1969) and Ph.D. (1981) from Fordham University, both in American History.
