| Biography | Maryanne Golsan is a partner at Golsan Ziff & Ziff. Since being admitted to the California Bar in 1993, she has devoted more than 15 years of practice exclusively to the domain of family law, becoming a Certified Family Law Specialist in 1999. Ms. Golsan has significant experience in working on cases ranging from mediated settlements to the most highly conflicted, litigated international family law matters. Coming to the study of law after years of traveling and living in different parts of the world and working in many different non-legal areas, Ms. Golsan brings sensitivity to cross-cultural issues to her practice. Ms. Golsan lived in France, studied, taught and did translations, and eventually married into a French family. After returning to live in the US, she moved to Los Angeles where she studied law, receiving several honors, including in community property. Her work in her practice has been recognized nationally, including for obtaining the return of abducted children. (Certified Specialist, Family Law, The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization)
