Mr. Montgomery is originally from Clinton, Mississippi. He attended The University of Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. After receiving his degree, he worked as a High School Admissions Counselor for the University for three years. Before beginning law school, Mr. Montgomery traveled abroad to Australia. He returned to Jackson where he received his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Mr. Montgomery was the founding President of the student chapter of the Federal Bar Association and also served as Vice President of the Moot Court Board.
Mr. Montgomery practices primarily in firm's insurance defense and litigation sections. He is admitted to practice before all Mississippi state courts, all Tennessee state courts, federal district courts, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, and the Madison County Bar Association.
