Mathieu LeBlanc is an associate in our Business Law Group in Québec City. He practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, as well as general commercial law, with a primary focus on the energy and infrastructure industries.
Mr. LeBlanc has acted for numerous Canadian and international purchasers, vendors, investors, developers and lenders in connection with mergers and acquisitions, project financings, corporate financings and contract drafting, as well as negotiations for energy and infrastructure projects in Québec and elsewhere in Canada. Mr. LeBlanc frequently advises developers in connection with the development, construction and financing of wind power projects. He also has experience with hydroelectric projects, cogeneration projects and biogas projects.
Mr. LeBlanc has also worked with the Business Law Group in our Calgary office.
Mr. LeBlanc received his Bachelor's degree in civil law from the Université Laval in 2008 and was placed on the Honour Roll of the Law Faculty for the year 2008-2009. He also studied at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany. Mr. LeBlanc was called to the Québec bar in 2009.
