Matt Kameron has, over the past three decades, represented the interests of financial institutions and borrowers in connection with the financing of real estate projects and the provision of line of credit and term facilities for businesses. In addition, Mr. Kameron provides structuring advice at the preloan approval stage and restructuring advice in connection with working out problem loans.
He has been involved in documenting real estate projects throughout the United States, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. These projects have ranged from hotels to office buildings to large-scale multifamily complexes.
In addition, Mr. Kameron has extensive experience in the area of commercial and asset-based finance, representing institutional lenders in documenting complex financing transactions.
Mr. Kameron's experience in structuring and documenting real estate, commercial, and asset-based loan transactions and his experience during the downturns of the late 80s, early 90s, and 2009 provide a firm base for representing financial institutions in connection with loan workouts.

Experience
- Representation of a bank in a $14 million loan transaction involving phased rehabilitation of historic building in Whitman, Massachusetts, and conversion to multifamily apartment building and historic tax credits.
- Representation of two national banks in two loan transactions, each one more than $40 million, involving a large shopping center in Houston, Texas, and one in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
- Representation of lender in $14.3 million loan transaction for rehabilitation and construction of a hotel, tennis club, restaurant, and beach club in Harwich Point, Massachusetts, in Cape Cod.
- Served as lead counsel on a complex financing arrangement under a limited timetable with Anglo-Irish Bank. We led our client through the $72 million dollar financing arrangement involving the acquisition of 17 shopping centers located in five different states. Our work involved the coordination of 17 individual co-borrowers and five local counsels. The financing project was completed within one month's time.
