Matthew concentrates his practice on the representation of debtors in chapter 11 proceedings. Although his practice is primarily focused on the representation of chapter 11 debtors, Matthew has also represented many other interested parties in some of Delaware's largest chapter 11 cases, including bank groups, secured lenders, creditors and examiners. Recent representations include American Home Mortgage, Inc., Aventine Renewable Energy, Inc., CCS Medical, Inc., KB Toys, Inc., RathGibson, Inc., and Spheris, Inc. Matthew's practice also incorporates restructuring troubled companies out of chapter 11 proceedings, corporate governance for healthy and distressed companies and acquisitions.
