Areas of Practice
Matt Block has experience in a broad range of business matters with particular emphasis on small business needs, copyrights and trademarks. Matt helps clients who are doing innovative things with their business to identify and manage their risks. He has assisted clients with all phases of simple and complex commercial litigation, including document-intensive discovery, negotiating and mediating settlements, trials and appeals. Matt has counseled both large and small commercial clients in issues dealing with copyright, trademark, corporate issues and employment matters.
Matt provides a wide range of services for entrepreneurs and investors, including deal analysis and diligence, organization of new entities, and advice and counseling. He has assisted technology companies and companies in emerging sectors by evaluating and obtaining cost-effective, appropriate protection for their intellectual property.
