Matthew concentrates his practice in the area of insolvency. He has represented large and mid-market corporate debtors, banks and private equity funds in all stages of the bankruptcy process including litigation, distressed asset sales and financing agreements. Matthew has experience administering all aspects of the claims process including drafting objections and stipulations, collecting data, negotiating settlements and preparing for contested hearings.
In his practice, Matthew has managed contested litigation in bankruptcy cases including conducting discovery and deposition preparation, taking and defense. Before law school, Matthew served as a teacher at DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis and Rockhurst High School in Kansas City.
