Matthew J. Piehl is an associate in the Antitrust and Health Care Groups at Crowell & Moring's Washington office. Matthew's antitrust practice includes counseling clients on a variety of competition issues associated with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and compliance with the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act.
Matthew received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011. While at Virginia, he was an articles editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law and an active member of the Health Law Association and the Virginia Innocence Project Student Group. Matthew graduated from Duke University in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology, with distinction, and minors in Economics and Health Policy.
