Matthew Whipple focuses his practice on general commercial litigation and construction related issues.
Representative Matters
· Regularly advises clients regarding federal procurement and construction projects under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR);
· Extensive experience in federal and state court motions practice including jurisdictional and venue objections, motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and pretrial and post-trial motions;
· Represented multiple clients at all stages of trade secret misappropriation disputes, including preliminary injunctions, motions practice, trial and appeal;
· Represented both public and private owners regarding claims for defective and delayed work against general contractors;
· Defended a manufacturer and designer of waste water treatment systems regarding design defects and warranty claims;
· Represented a major steel company in a large commercial dispute through a multi-day arbitration.
