Experience: Matthew is an associate attorney in both the Employment and Labor Department and the Litigation Department of the firm. In the Employment and Labor department, he has experience working with matters involving federal civil rights issues (e.g. Title VII and EEOC responses), the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, whistleblower statutes, and employment litigation. Matthew also assists in drafting severance/separation agreements, independent contractor agreements, employment applications and employee handbooks. With the Litigation Department, he has experience working with various stages of business litigation, construction litigation, and collections cases. Background: Before joining GrayRobinson, Matthew attended the University of Florida's Levin College of Law and graduated in 2007 cum laude with his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Matthew served as a Senior Associate Justice on the Student Government Supreme Court, the Honorary Tapping Chairman for Florida Blue Key, and Vice President for the Law School Republicans. He graduated in 2004 from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Business Economics and a minor in Criminology.
