Matt Bogosian has practiced family law exclusively his entire career, beginning with the boutique celebrity family law firm Kaufman & Young in Beverly Hills, the global mega firm Morrison & Foerster in Los Angeles, and Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton, the oldest and largest law firm in Ventura County. In just his second year as a practicing family lawyer, he reversed an erroneous child custody jurisdiction ruling made by award-winning Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider on an Emergency Petition for Writ of Mandate to the California Court of Appeal, a feat most attorneys fail to achieve during their entire careers. Having an individual practice gives Matt the flexibility to charge rates based on the simplicity or complexity of the individual matter and enables him to focus on all of the client's needs without having to charge for every moment of time spent. Matt passed the State Bar of California's Certified Family Law Specialist examination. Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA with Departmental Honors in Linguistics and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society for outstanding achievement in liberal arts. Matt received his Juris Doctor of law from Pepperdine University in Malibu where he received the top score in Advanced Family Law, won the American Jurisprudence Award in Negotiation and Settlement Advocacy, received honors in trial practice and earned a 97 at the Appellate Advocacy Invitational.
