Matthew W. Thompson

Matthew W. Thompson was born September 16th, 1979 in Lakeland, Florida. He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and earned his J.D. at the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. He is licensed to practice in all Florida courts.
Mr. Thompson served as Assistant State Attorney and brings extensive litigation experience to Bauer and Associates. He practices in the areas of litigation, criminal law, business, real estate, estate planning, probate and personal injury. Mr. Thompson believes that every client should receive personal attention and be kept fully informed of their case. He strives to perform timely, thorough and accurate legal representation in each of his cases. He is a member of the Volusia County Bar Association, the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce, Mainstreet DeLand Association and the DeLand Rotary Breakfast Club. Mr. Thompson and his wife are also small business owners in DeLand and are actively involved in community activities and events. He resides in an historic 1923 home in DeLand with his wife and 2 golden retrievers. Mr. Thompson enjoys running and cycling.
