About this office: Our Ottawa office opened in 1982 as an offshoot of Clarkson Tétrault and expanded quickly following the 1990 merger with McCarthy & McCarthy. The new office's growth strategy focused on building up local clientele to complement its expanding volume of federal regulatory work. Today, the Ottawa office stands as a leader in the key market niches responsible for its growth and success. We have a premier technology practice, including finance, M&A and licensing. Our regulatory practice includes trade, procurement, access to information, privacy and general federal government issues. Our litigation group provides services in both commercial and government-oriented litigation. Our office is small, but nimble, with industry leaders on the ground in Ottawa. This, coupled with our ability to tap into the expertise and resources of McCarthy Tétrault's national network, creates an incomparable value proposition for our key and significant client base.
