Meaghan F. Molinini is a counsel in the Corporate practice group in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, specializing in business aviation. She joined the firm in 2006.
Meaghan advises clients on aircraft transactions and aviation regulatory matters. Meaghan provides guidance to business and individuals on issues involving the purchase, sale, management, leasing and financing of new and used business aircraft, as well as the acquisition of interests in fractional ownership programs. Her aviation regulatory practice includes assisting commercial air carriers with obtaining Department of Transportation licensing authority and providing guidance to both private and commercial aircraft operators on a variety of regulatory matters, including such issues as hazardous materials, operational control, advertising, public charters and aviation taxes.
Before joining Crowell & Moring, Meaghan was an associate at a Washington, D.C. law firm providing foreign air carriers with aviation regulatory and general business advice, including guidance regarding the regulations of the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, Internal Revenue Service and other federal and state agencies. Meaghan also assisted clients with obtaining employment-based immigration visas and trademark registrations.
Meaghan earned her J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, cum laude, in 2003, where she was a member of Catholic University Law Review and the national securities moot court team. Meaghan graduated from Virginia Polytechnic & State University (Virginia Tech) in 1995 with dual degrees in Management Science and Finance.
