Melanie Totman is a member of the Government Contacts group. Melanie assists the Government Contracts team at Venable in providing clients with effective legal counsel and advocacy in many areas, including bid protests, claims, compliance matters, and small business issues.
Prior to joining Venable, Melanie served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Christine O.C. Miller of the United States Court of Federal Claims, and also clerked for Chief Judge Joyce Bihary of the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Georgia. She was the Managing Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law while in law school.
