Professional Experience
Ms. Weaver has extensive transactional experience in the fields of motion picture, television and music, with a particular emphasis on areas and transactions where these fields overlap, such as motion picture and television production and clients who are active in more than one field.
Ms. Weaver has represented clients ranging from individual writers, producers and recording artists to small production companies to large institutions and her experience includes matters which range from talent employment agreements to large mergers and acquisitions.
Her background includes television development, production and distribution for network, syndication and cable, and for several years she served as the sole in-house counsel for a significant television production company, handling several series in production as well as pilots, MOWs and development. She also has extensive experience in motion picture development, financing, production and distribution, as well as recording and music publishing.
