Meryl is a Member in the firm's Corporate & Securities Section and Public Finance Section. She concentrates her practice on debt financings, secured transactions, and project finance. Meryl has extensive experience representing borrowers in domestic and international debt financings, including acquisition financings, senior and subordinate debt financings, asset based financings, and loan syndications. Her clients include both public and private companies in the health care, life sciences, and technology sectors, as well as clients in the manufacturing industry. She also has a strong background in commercial real estate loan transactions and in-depth experience with loan workouts and restructurings. Meryl's public finance practice focuses on handling the real estate and personal property collateral aspects of transactions for mutual fund companies, insurance companies, and other institutional investors in connection with their investments in tax-exempt securities. Meryl also serves as pro bono counsel to Respond, Inc., an organization that provides housing, advocacy, and support services to women and children affected by domestic violence. Meryl is admitted to the Massachusetts bar. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Brandeis University and her J.D. from Northeastern University Law School.
