Michael A. Mayhall

Mr. Michael A. Mayhall, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, graduated from Loyola Law School in New Orleans in 1976 and was admitted into the Bar that same year. While in law school he was a member of the Loyola Law Review. After law school Mr. Mayhall earned a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University and worked as trial counsel for the office of District Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service in Newark, New Jersey from 1976 through 1979. In 1986, The Mayhall Law Firm was formed and has been serving clients in the Southeast United States since that time. Mr. Mayhall is a member of the Louisiana State and American Bar Associations, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Mayhall is a Board Certified Tax Law Specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He practices in the areas of Federal Taxation, Tax Controversies, Tax Litigation, Business Law, and Business Litigation.
