Michael is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national organization of trial lawyers limited to attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a verdict, award or settlement in the amount of One Million Dollars or more.
Michael is listed in Who's Who in America Law, Who's Who Register of Rising Young Americans, Two Thousand Notable American Men, Who's Who of International Professionals, Universal Who's Who and Who's Who Among Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Michael has been and remains active in a variety of community activities, some of which allow for the performance of pro bono legal services. He has always has a strong belief and commitment to serving and giving back to the community. Over the years he has served on numerous boards and chaired many committees raising funds for charitable organizations. He served as Chairman of Buffalo Sabre Brad May's charity golf event in 1994 and 1995 and Buffalo Sabre Matt Barnaby's charity gold event in 1996 and 1997. Both events raised funds to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He has also chaired many events dedicated to raising funds for the prevention of child abuse.
Michael has served as President of the Bar Association of the Tonawandas, the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas, and the Exchange Club of the Tonawandas. He served two terms on the North Tonawanda City Council. He served as Chairman of the Town of Grand Island Board of Ethics from 2001 through 2011 and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce from 2005 through 2010.
As an attorney, Michael believes he must do more than just help those are able to pay a fee. He has shared his knowledge in a number of legal topics with others in the community so they can more effectively deal with the legal issues they face.
